Dear Family and Friends,

This week has been a pretty good week. On  Wednesday we had a good
dinner and lesson with Sam Gamboa and his family.  Sam just become
active a few months ago and is preparing from start to work on his
mission papers.  He is really cool and a great kid.  His mom is a less
active member and his step dad isn't, but they are both sup supportive
of Sam to go on a mission and are helping him with whatever they can.
Last week they were able to go to the Fort Lauderdale temple open
house and all that they could say was wow. They had an amazing
experience and talked about how beautiful that it was.

On Thursday we had the Zone Leader come with us on exchanges for
weekly planning then trying to do some less active contacting.  We had
a great lesson with Bro. Williams at his home about missionary work.
He also has a great view since he lives on the beach.

On Friday we had a great lesson with the Rakstang family.  This was my
first time visiting with them and they are super cool.  They expressed
a desire to become active with church again.  They want to be more
involved in the activities, so we are going to start working with them
more frequently.

Saturday was a pretty good day as well.  We went back to the rowing
regatta with the Parisi family.  This was state competition for high
school, and Marin Parisi ended up getting 4th with her crew in her
race.  It was super fun to watch and I wish that they had rowing in
high school.  I so would have done it because it looks like a lot of
fun.
