Dear Family and Friends,
This past week has been a great week. This week I was able to go on and exchange with Elder Tanner. He is from Saskatchewan Canada and has been out one more transfer than I have. I love going on exchanges with other people, especially if it is in a different area than me.
So we have been working with the I-pad mini's. Every missionary got their own to keep and we take it with us from area to area when we get transferred. We have been inputting all of the area book information which is really time consuming. They didn't give us to much information on how to use anything either. So we have bee trying to figure it all out on our own, but it's really not to difficult. Elder Whaley doesn't like it to much though. He has never really used one before and wants to continue using the planner. We really haven't done to much online proselyting because he doesn't understand it to well, he has never had a Facebook before he came out. Things have been going pretty good altogether. It's weird having everything on a digital device now. We have our daily planners, pamphlets, books, magazines, and everything else. It's great being able to pull up videos and pictures in lessons. A few of the people who we have been working with don't quite understand the things that they read and what we teach, so using visual material has really helped them to comprehend things much better.
Thank you so much for sending the packages. I got the glasses that you sent on Monday last week and they fit really well. I don't have to get anything adjusted with them. I also got the Valentine package and thank you for everything that you send.
I can't really think of anything else that really happened this last week. We haven't been able to get in touch with Ron for the past four days, so his baptism will most likely be sometime in March when we do. We do have one other baptism date set for March 16 for a guy named Bruce. He has been involved in Boy Scouting for the last 26+ years now.
Love you all bunches.
Love, Elder Leavitt
