Dear Family and Friends!!!
This week has been such a good week. It started out with playing sand volleyball for preparation day, and we went and had FHE with a recent convert family and had such a good time with them. As soon as we walked out of the door to go and get our bikes, it started down pouring super hard.
I don't have much time, so I don't want to waste it talking about getting stuck in the rain, because that happened a few times this past week, and will probably start to be a regular thing with summer being here. We unfortunately had to drop one of our investigators that had a date set because she wasn't progressing at all. Because of that, we were able to get another investigator with a date set now. She is in the YSA Ward. She was one of the Sisters Investigators, but they got emergency transferred out of the ward, so now we are working with her.
Not only that, but another miracle that happened that was really amazing. We were biking and another guy came biking up from behind us. He asked us if we were messengers, and we told him that we were messengers of God. We then biked with him for about 45 minutes and taught him the entire Restoration. It was awesome. We then invited him to church, and he came to the YSA ward and was fellowship super well. A lot of the members invited him to a bunch of activities that are happening later on this week. We are going to continue teaching him this week. He doesn't seem to have much of a knowledge about God or Jesus Christ, but he is willing to learn. I am so excited to start working with him, and I feel like he is going to be so solid. We were able to gain two new investigators by dropping one that wasn't progressing. I know that I need to be spending the Lord's time effectively, and that I will be blessed as we do.
I'm sorry for the short email, but it has been such an amazing week and I have loved it so much.
Love, Elder Leavitt
