Dear Family and Friends, This last week had A been much better than previous weeks. Although we still didn't have too many lessons, we were able to make a bunch of great contacts with and visits with people who we never had been able to make contact with them, or it's been a long time. For family home evening on Monday night, we went to the and had a fun time playing a Bible Edition of Apple to Apples that we got at a Christian store here. We are trying to help their son want to go on a mission right now instead if the military, and will try to get him to come out with us sometime. On Tuesday morning we went and had a lesson with Brother Strattman and showed him the Will of God Mormon message which is another one of my favorites. We the meet up with the Sister missionaries and did some ward roster work. Just going through it and identifying and talking about the people we visit, who we didn't know at all, and those who are do not contact. We only got about half way through the 28 pages of members, and there are still quite a few who we realized we didn't know about. For the rest of the day we spent some time trying to contact a bunch of this people, and all of them had moved out of our area. We had a great combined zone district meeting on Wednesday. Probably one of the best trainings/role plays I've seen on extending a baptismal date. We also talked about the goals for number of baptisms for the month of June for the Zone. The goal it ten baptism and there have already been five, and as of right now ten more have dates set for this month. In the evening we had three great lessons. The first was with the Perez family. It's been a while since we had been able to visit with them and the kids we super happy that we came by again. It's hard to go and visit them since we have moved farther away and that they aren't in our area. We did a handoff lesson with the Bradenton elders, but when ever we are close by we will stop and visit with them to check and see how they are doing. We then went and had a lesson with the Innes' which are another one of my favorite families to go and see. Last night we gave Sister Innes the missionary library so that she could read through that. Hopefully we didn't overwhelm her with so many books, but I thinks that she will love reading them. Tonight we read through the 13 Articles of Faith and talked about them as we did so. The last lesson of the evening was with Kyle over Skype, and we read through Mormon 6 with him. This was the chapter that the missionaries in Virginia gave to him to read, so we read through that and talked about how blessed we are to have the words of prophets from generations ago, and then gave him some more chapters to read. Thursday morning we went and helped Elder and Sister Greenwood cut down and clean up some trees at Sister English's home. Doing service projects is one of my favorite things to do, and we are always looking for different ways to help out. After that, we finished up our weekly planning, and went less active contacting the rest of the day. Once again, just about everyone that we tried has ended up moving out of the area to who knows where. We did get in with one less active who we have just talked at the door previous times. We stayed there for about twenty minutes and just got to know him some more. He shared with us some great stories about how is was able to receive his testimony of the truth and he had some pretty incredible experiences. We had another service opportunity to help Sister Brooks move things from one trailer, to another one right next door. It was a pretty warm and humid day. It's close enough to summer now, and tomorrow is officially the first day of summer. We went and visited with Leroy in the afternoon and had a good lesson on he plan of salvation. Leroy really liked learning about the spirit world and what happens after death. That he will be able to see his parents and his little kid that died again. We committed him to coming to church and he finally committed to come this time, telling us that he needs to start coming. So we set up a ride to go and pick him up Sunday morning with Brother Gheldof. In he evening we went and visited with John again. He was telling us all about his Bahai Religion again and we couldn't get much in. He absolutely loves Joseph Smith, the Book of Mormon, and D&C. We started reading from the beginning in of he BofM then he started jumping around in lots of different chapters telling us what they meant. He is a super nice and awesome guy, but we probably won't be spending too much time there. Brother Hoynacki was gone this week for ward correlation, so we just got together with the Sisters again and finished our ward roster work. Finally done with going through who everybody is and figuring out whose area that they live in. For dinner we went to Bro Balle's house. He is the Elders Quorum President and a super awesome guy. He invited one of his friends Brother Brown from the Palmetto ward to the dinner as well. We talked about missionary work and what they can do to share the gospel with their friends. Like creating a Mormon.org profile and posting it on Facebook so that all can see it. Brother Balle also asked about people he could help fellowship, and about people on his home teaching list. The rest of the day we didn't have too many lessons, but we did have some good contact with people we hadn't gotten a chance to meet yet. I'm still pretty tired from waking up at 4:45am yesterday morning. We had a Stake and Ward Council training at 6:30am for all of the ward councils in the stake. President Cusick and Elder Thompson gave the training on how missionaries and members can work together. That members don't have to make time for us to come by, but just need to invite us to their daily activities. For example going to members work places, or joining families for activities such as soccer games and concerts. It was a really good training and I enjoyed listening to both speakers because they were energetic for it being 6:30 in the morning and having to keep everyone awake. Leroy, as well as a bunch of other investigators and less actives didn't show up to sacrament meeting today. We thought that it was going to be a great day today but we thought wrong. Leroy was ready to go and said that he wasn't feeling too well to go to church when we stopped by to pick him up. Both of the appointments that we had scheduled this evening canceled on us, so we went and visit with Sister Innes and answered some of her questions from reading through True To The Faith. This morning we went out to Myakka State Park and just got back from that. We had a bunch of fun going out and seeing parts of Florida. We saw one wild boar, some small fallow deer (about the biggest deer I have seen in Florida). Just today alone we saw 18 alligators, the biggest being about eight feet long. The count for my mission is now 53 gators, and 2 crocodiles. I will send a few pictures in a different email for you. Loves you all, and I pray that everything is going well for you. June 15, 2014- Happy Father's Day!
Dear Family,
This week has been another slow week for some reason. We have dropped a lot of people because they haven't been progressing to much. So we have really been focusing on finding new people, but haven't had too much success though. Elder Ronfeldt and I have been getting along great, and we are doing our best each day to stay busy. One really neat thing that happened this past week is that we were finally able to get in with a less active family. The times that we have visited with them before, we have only been able to share a brief message before they rush us out the door. But this last time we visited with them for 45 minutes and she was telling us about how much she has read the Book of Mormon. We shared the Because of Him video and she liked when it said that you are given another chance again and again, and we told her that this is another one of her chances to come to church again.

Really not too much happened this last week so I don't have too much to talk about. Everything has been going good. We did get stuck in two rainstorms while biking is last week. For some reasons, both storms had a really cold rain, but it felt super nice and refreshing. I really enjoyed being caught in the rain.
I did get the package today with the pink popcorn, rootbeer cookies, and jeans. Thank you so much. We will enjoy the treat that you sent.
Loves ya all, and Happy Fathers Day!!!

June 10, 2014- Elder Clark Zone Conference
This week hasn't been to good lesson wise, but it has been a great
spiritual week the miracles that we saw. Not too much happened last
Monday. On Tuesday we went and did some service in the morning by
helping a family move into their home. In the evening we didn't have
anything planned out besides drop byes. We were biking up north when
we got a call from Sister Hill who wanted help moving her tv. She
farther south than where we were at. We debated on if we should go or
not and decided to bike down there to help her out. On our way biking
down there we passed a guy who was talking on the phone. A lot of the
time we don't interrupt people when they are talking, but today I felt
that I need to. I stopped and just asked him if I could give him a
card. He hung up the phone on his friend whom he was talking to and
starting getting all emotional. His name is Jansen and he told us
that he has been clean from drugs for four years now, and that he has
been trying to change his life around now. He said that this is a
sign from God that we ran into him. He proceeded to tell us that one
of his good I friends had just died that day, so I gave him a Plan Of
Salvation pamphlet and he told us that he would give us a call in 45
min when he got home. We never did get that call that night but were
able to talk to him a few days later. He wants us to come by and meet
with him and his girlfriend. We wer supposed that evening but he told
us that he had to babysit and would have to try again another day. I
am really looking forward to when I do get to visit with him and his
girlfriend.
On Wednesday we did a lot of walking around a finding, but we didn't
have too much luck with talking with that many people.
Thursday wasn't the most productive day either. We had to make two
trips down to Sarasota which pretty much toke up the entire day. The
first trip was for interviews with President Cusick and they went
pretty well. President Cusick is an awesome guy and I am so glad that
I can have such a great mission president. We then has to take the
Bradenton Elder back home, then go back down to Sarasota again for my
dentist appointment. Dr. Leavitt takes great care of Elder Ronfeldt
and I. He did get the permanent crown put on and everything is all
good now since I had that chip on my tooth. Just one more visit with
him so that he can check on it and do a cleaning for bother Elder
Ronfeldt and I.
We had two great lessons on Friday, and Saturday we did some more
service. We ended up painting a trailer house that a member was
moving into. For ward correlation, Sister Upshaw and I decided to
have it at Menchies since it was our 10 month birthday.
The reason that I am emailing today is because we had zone conference
with Elder Clark. So our preparation day was moved to today. I
really enjoyed listening to Elder Clark. We talked about ways that we
can become exceptional missionaries and how we can be the example for
others. Elder Clark has a great sense of humor and was making jokes
throughout the meeting. He also talked about how we can be the
answers to peoples prayers. I really enjoyed meeting with him. For
our FHE we went and visited with the Innes'. They are super fun to be
around and I love them tons. We just talked and played games with
them for the evening.
I hope and pray that everything is going well for all of you.

June 10, 2014- Re: check your mail & address
Bad timing on the new address, sorry about that. I did get the Mrs. Fields cookies and the small package and letter with the gum you sent. I got those yesterday.
You may not get this email before you head off to girls camp, but I hope that you all have fun there. It will be a great experience to have both Kiera and Lexie there, and I am sure that Grandma Gloria and Lainee will have a great time together. On the joys of basketball and running. Sometimes painful with blisters but well worth it all. I'm glad that I could talk to Lainee for a short time. She sent me the cutest video and texts and I loved it. I'm glad that you were able to make it to Jenecee's wedding. Thanks for giving her good wishes and congratulations for me. I hope that all is going well for them. I hope that all is going great for Ellen, Tammy and Michelle, and tell them thanks for the love and support. How has Zack been doing in his mission? I remember how much fun that square dancing was and I really enjoyed it. I wish I could have been there to see dad and Lexie dancing away. You and dad will have fun on the trek. You will have to take pictures and send them to me of girls camp and of trek. That stinks that they are done with softball now, but it sounds like they will both be great players in the future. Adam is an awesome guy and I'm glad that Kiera has such great friends and dates that she can go on. That is awesome that they were able to involve the younger kids in a fun and creative way. That would be funny to watch to see how it turns out. Is his Grandma and Grandpa Leavitt's first time going to Hawaii? They are going to love it there and I hope that they send me pictures of their celebration trip. Lainee is a hoot! I miss that girl so much and her funny jokes that she is always telling. So how did Andressa enjoy going through the temple? I bet that she loved it. I sure did the first time that I went through. I can't wait until I get the opportunity to go to the temple again. It is my favorite place to be and I have been missing it quite a bit lately. I'm glad that you were able to meet up with the Ingalls family and to hear hat they are doing great. Thank you for getting me the recipe for the rootbeer cookies and the sweet and sour meatballs. Now I just need to go shopping when I get some more money and cook up some good tasty meals. Tommy has told me about working up at the cabin and told me that I need to join him up there next summer and hang out with him. I hunk that would be pretty cool to stay up at the cabin all summer and working up there. I would be doing a lot of running and mountain biking up there. So about Ethan, I was going to ask you last week if you had talked to him at all but I forgot about it. Elder Spach who I went on exchanges with last week was companions with Elder Grant when he went home in the middle of March. If you do ever get the chance to talk to Ethan tell him hi for Elder Spach and I and to send me an email so we can visit with each other. I don't know the exact reasoning but I think that he was having a difficult time out here and maybe it was something with health. Not sure. I hope that everything is going good for him now that he is home. Sad and tough year for Lainee not being able to go to girls camp while her older sisters go. I hope that she will have a fun time with Grandma Gloria. I know that I would have tons of fun if I got to spend a week by myself with Grandpa John and a grandma Gloria. That is exciting news for Natalie, she is going to love going to Chile is July. Mi have a letter from her that I need to write back to in the near future. I've been working on the letter for Kiera this past week and will try to finish it today and get it sent out. I did get a toothbrush this last week and Dr. Leavitt gave me a prescription for some cavity preventing toothpaste that I need to go and pick up today. I don't know sister Callahan, move heard the name tho. I will ask Kiera in the letter that I am writing to her about it because it sounds like a neat experience. Do to know when the Priest quorum is supposed to go to lake Powell? I need to write a letter to them that Bishop asked me to write.
Thanks for the weekly updates and I Love Ya tons

BANYAN TREES
Dear Family and Friends,
This week had been a pretty good week. I already talked about this a
little bit last week, but now I have a few pictures of the Memorial
Day Picnic that we had. The ward members loved it so much and they
are already planning the next big activity for Pioneer Day.
Thursday morning turned out to be really awesome. Brother Hoynacki
came out with us and we went and visited Angela. Angela is a referral
that we received from church headquarters and she is super cool. Her
first contact with the church in Melbourne Fl while walking in he park
and some sister missionaries came up to her. Angela then moved here
about a month ago and know we are meeting with her. She is a golden
investigator asking all of the right questions with a sincere desire
to learn. I am super excited to continues meeting with her and our
next appointment is tomorrow morning. We then went and saw Michele,
and she is doing awesome. Since the last time we visited with her, she
has now talked to Scott about marriage. They are planning on getting
married within the next month or so. I am super excited for her to be
maki the decisions to turn her life around. Michele sees the
importance of marriage and making that commitment to her husband, and
a commitment to God. Later that day after weekly planning with the
Zone Leader, we had exchanges. Elder Spach, who is the new Zone
Leader came with me. We had three appointments that we set for the
rest of the evening. The first one wasn't there when we arrived and
it was supposed to be a pass off lesson with the Bradenton Elders. We
then went to McDonalds because Elder Spach had to sync his iPad. We
ended up being there for about an hour because it started to pouring
outside. So we ended up teaching a guy in there who was also taking
cover from the storm. We shared the Because of Him video and had a
great discussion. We had to cancel the next appointment because it was
still raining. As soon as it cleared up we biked to the very most
northern part of our area and had a good lesson with Sam and his mom
as we read through Alma 7. Then we had to bike the 10 miles back home.
There's nothing else too exciting that happened this week. We did get
18 lessons in and hopefully it will continue to grow some more. I
love you all and thanks for the support and prayers.
