RE: Rampin' up in September!- 09/22/14

Yeah, sorry about just sending you my journal and not my thoughts or anything.  I just haven't really been in the mood, or even had the time to write these past three preparations days.  What did Elder Hicken's mom talk to you about?  I've sent them a nice letter about their son a few weeks ago, but I know that it didn't receive the greatest response from them.

Kiera should be ready for state by the time that she has ran the region course a few times and with those dinners that you have coordinated!  ;). That's awesome.  It's fun that Lainee wants to do the tough kids triathlon as well.  I think that I really want to get into triathlons when I get home, they would be way fun.

That is so sad to hear about Brother Bray, I will keep his family in my prayers. As well as the Coop family.  Especially the Ingalls as well.  I've got a good long list of people who I can keep in my prayers each night.

That is so cool that you got to participate in the rededication of the Ogden temple.  I told dad that I was jealous, and that I can't wait until I can go to the temple again.  Less than 10 months now and I will be able to go! :)

Loves ya tons!!
Love, Elder Leavitt

It was good to hear from you or at least your journal to see how things were going for you the last two weeks.  I am glad that you have been busy that way.  I was very happy to hear that a member brought you some food.  That warmed this ol'mom's heart!  I did share that with Elder Hicken's mother and also the part of Elder Hicken's prompting to go to Eagle Beach and meeting that person there.  I told her that I was happy to hear that my son was working with an Elder that listened to promptings and followed them.   My prayers were that they feel warmth from another Elders family and that my Elder (you) recognized him (Hicken) as doing good things in your companionship.  You are a good Elder and a good trainer Elder Leavitt!  I just know it!!
