Dear Family and Friends,
First off I have want to say sorry because this email is going to be
short. President Cusick changed things up last week so that our
Preparation Day was on Thursday instead of today, so now I only get 30
minutes to write emails.
This past week has been pretty good. For Thanksgiving morning, we had
district meeting about gratitude, and then Elder Ware and I went to
two dinners with recent converts and had a really fun time and some
great food.
On Saturday, there was a family of four that was baptized into the
ward. It was a miracle that they were baptized in the month of
November so that we could meet our baptism goals for the Zone. They
had the faith and prayers of 30 missionaries that they would be
baptized. Then on Sunday I had the great opportunity of being the
voice for the father, Kirk Xaymongkongh. Try pronouncing that last
name! :). This was my first time that I got to act as voice for a
confirmation, and it was so cool. The spirit was so strong at that
time.
So William is doing great and is still good to be baptized on this
Saturday. He is really nervous about it, especially after seeing a
baptism on last night, but he is still excited. Felix is going to
have to be pushed back right now, and hopefully he will still be
baptized this month. He is still trying to overcome some word of
wisdom and law of chastity issues. If you can keep both of them in
your prayers that would be awesome.
Love you all!!!
Love,
Elder Leavitt

Sorry, I don't have too much time to write right now. Wish I had more time. But that is super cool that you were able to talk to Sister Hedin and have that connection with her. I'm glad to hear that the family is doing great and had a fun thanksgiving week! I wish that I could have been there to help you set up, but hey, next year I will! :D
Love you son!
Elder Chase Leavitt
